The reason why I didn't write anything about the final

Tuesday, July 10, 2012

So, you might wondering, after all those posts about Euro 2012, match to match, the scores, the details, and all, why didn't I write anything about the final? Well, you might wondering, or you might not, because you already understand what I feel.
What? Did I say I was neutral? Yes! I was! I am!
Well, you know, I am neutral. In the beginning of the tournament I said I wish Italy and Spain met at the final, and they did. So, I was really happy about that, and I was about to be happy of whoever wins the game.

But..... 4 - 0?? Guys! Really??

It was a shock therapy for me!
I thought--or maybe I should say I wished--it would be penalties at the end. Because I didn't want anymore goals to each teams goal. Both Casillas and Buffon were the best goalkeeper in that tournament. Their goals were the cleanest of all contestants. Before the final, there was only one ball went to Casillas' goal, and there were only 3 balls went to Buffon's goal, and the last one was penalty.
So, basically I just didn't want their goals to be added more balls. I think it would just ruin their statistics. Especially if Spain made goals. Because Germany's goal in Italy last match before the final has made their...

The Final of My Dream

lunedi, 2 giugno, 2012

This is the final of my dream!

Since the first time I started watching football, this is the first time my two favorite teams meet at the final.

As you may already know, I started watching football from World Cup 1998. The final was Brazil vs France. I was so upset when France beat Brazil 3 – 0. The next big international tournament is Euro 2000, the final was Italy vs France, and again, France beat my favorite team for the second time, the score was 2 – 1 for France, and they got the trophy. That’s why I hate France. Well, used to hate them.

My first two big tournaments were upsetting. But the next tournaments always satisfied me, especially World Cup 2002, when Brazil won the World Cup for the 5th times, and my superhero Ronaldo got the golden shoes by 8 goals. Fantastic! They beat Germany 2 – 0 in the final.
Euro 2004 final was weird and unpopular. It was between Greece and Portugal. So I wasn’t really supporting any of them. Although I loved Nuno Gomes, Luis Figo, and Rui Costa. I think there were no Cristiano Ronaldo back then.

Then World Cup 2006 final, Italy vs France. Italy won by penalties. It was a bad game, but I’m glad that France, my enemy, was defeated by one of my favorite team, Italy. Then Euro 2008, I’m so glad to see Spain beat Germany in the final. It was 1 – 0 for Spain. Yeay!
And the last but not least, 2 years ago, Spain beat Netherland in World Cup 2010 final. Woohoo!

So, since the first time I watched big football tournaments, I’ve never seen two of my favorite teams meet each other at the final. Of course I’ve always wished Italy and Brazil would meet on World Cup final, or Spain and Italy meet on Euro final. But it never happened since 1998.
So, now I’m so happy because since this Europhoria started on June 8, I’ve been wishing to see Italy and Spain in the final. And it happens now! Now I don’t really care who’ll win the cup. They’re both my favorites, they’re both very good teams, they’ve played very well so far, they’ve got brilliant players… Oh, well, Spain’s got more brilliant players, meanwhile, I think the ones really good in Italian team are only Andrea Pirlo, Antonio Cassano, Mario Balotelli, and of course, the one of the best goalkeeper, Gianluigi Buffon.

Now about my prediction for this final.

I think both Spain and Italy have got good materials. Both teams have got the best goalkeepers in the world, Iker Casillas and Gianluigi Buffon.
Italy's got the best defenders, plus Andrea Pirlo, the midfielder, also helps with the defense. For defense, I think Italy's got better materials, but in this tournament so far, Spain's got the least GA (whatever it is, I just don't know how to mention the one team who's the goal being... goaled?).

Spain's got wonderful midfielders like Cesc Fabregas, Xabi Alonso, Xavi Hernandez, Andres Iniesta, Sergio Busquets. Most of them play in FC Barcelona: team with the best midfielders. Italy's only got Andrea Pirlo. Match after match he's the only player who really worked through the midfield. He's the playmaker, he's always the man of the match.

For strikers, Spain's got Fernando Torres and well... the rests are not really useful. Except maybe Jesus Navas, at least he made a goal against Croatia. Meanwhile, Italy's got Antonio Cassano, Mario Balotelli, and Antonio diNatale. They're genius! And they've made some very great goals, especially Balotelli.

Their coaches, Cesare Prandelli and Vincente Del Bosque, are surely have got different characters, and also different background.
Cesare Prandelli used to bring serie B teams to be promoted to serie A, such as Verona and Venezia. Meanwhile, Vincente Del Bosque was once a coach of the biggest club, most glamorous club in the world, Real Madrid. He's been coaching some superstars such as Ronaldo, Beckham, Zidane, Carlos, Figo, etc.
Seeing how they've lead their teams so far, Spain plays very consistent with attacking character, entertaining ball flow. They always play beautiful and entertaining. Italy, they seemed changing their game all the time. Prandelli seems to do some experiments with his players. But anyway, it always works, at least for the last 3 matches.

In this tournament, on their first match in the group, they played even 1 - 1. Then Spain was the leader of the group, while Italy was only the runners-up. Italy played even with Croatia and only won against the weakes team of that group, Ireland. In the quarter-final, Spain beat France, the runners-up of group D, while Italy beat England, the leader of group D. Before final, Spain beat Portugal, the runners-up of group B, by penalties, while Italy beat Germany, that used to be the most promising team before.

For these last 4 - 6 years, Spain seems to be pretty consistent team. They played very well in international tournaments. They've won the Euro 2008 in Swiss-Austria, then continued with the World Cup 2010. Everyone think that they'd gonna keep going with this one. Spain got great players, with good attitude.  They have fair play.

Italy's achievements for these last 4 year are not really satisfying. They didn't go to the round of 16 in World Cup 2010, and they was beaten by Spain in Euro 2008. But Italian squad is now totally different. You can see it very clearly. The way they play, the way they dominate the game. They didn't start this tournament very well, but they've beaten two big teams, England and Germany. They've been getting better in attacking, while still great at defense. And don't forget, Italy has proven itself as the only team that can make a goal to Spain's goal for the whole tournament.

Now seeing the history, Italy won Euro 1968 after Spain won Euro 1964. Then both teams never won the trophy until Euro 2008, who was won by Spain. So, if Italy always got the trophy after Spain, will this year be the same?

Last thing...
Both Italy and Spain have ended one of their matches in this tournament with penalties. And in the last Euro, Euro 2008, Spain beat Italy also by penalties. No wonder, both teams got the best defense!

So..., would it be another penalties?

Let's watch guys!!
Viva españa! Forza Italia!!

Finally A Match with Goals

venerdi, 29 giugno, 2012

L’Italia 2 – 1 La Germania (Mario Balotelli ’20, ’36 – Mesut Ozil ’92-p)

Bravissimo! Forza gli azzurri! Forza fratelli d’italia!

It's 2 - 1 for Italy!

Two matches before, the last quarter-final match Italy vs England, and the first semi-final Spain vs Portugal, were ended tied without any goals, and had to be done with penalties. But we could see how one of the teams really dominated the match. Spain dominated the Spain vs Portugal match, while Italy definitely dominated the Italy vs England match.
But this match, Italy against Germany, both teams played really well. They actually played equal enough. They played beautiful games. Both did dangerous attempt to make goals. What a beautiful game!

Actually at first, Germany was dominating the game. They almost made a goal in the early minutes. OMG! It was close! Some Germany player made a very nice goal shot, I was very scared, I screamed, but lucky, our hero, Andrea Pirlo blocked it very well! Thank God for Pirlo!

Then they attacked each other, played very open, very offensive. Germany made lots of shots those almost be a goal. But lucky (for me and all Italian fans), Italy's got the best defense. And they got Gianluigi Buffon, one of the best goalkeeper in the world!! Yeayy!! Ti amo, mio Buffon!

And they've also got the best attacking team! Oh God! Their goals are sooooooo....beautiful!

The first goal was on '20. Antonio Cassano made a very brilliant action through the left side. He entered the Germany defensive area, released a very wonderful crossing, gave the ball to Mario Balotelli in a very perfect spot. And Balotelli--with his head--maximize that beautiful chance to a very beautiful goal. Bravissimo!! 1 - 0 for Italia!

But nothing like Balotelli's second goal! That second goal was... amazing!! Amazing!!
He got a long pass, got away from the off-side trap, and calmly, confidently, shot the ball to the upper-right corner of the goal! Whoaaww...!! That was a beautiful goal! Germany goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer didn't move. He might think that it wouldn't be a goal. Fantastic!

In the second half, both Italy and Germany still played with full of power. They kept the rhythm of the game. Both made dangerous attack. Federico Balzaretti almost made it 3 - 0 for Italy, but he was on off-side position. And Buffon did the wonderful savings over and over again! He's trully a superhero! Seriously! I've got to admit, Germany is a great team, they've got pretty good player, they played very well, the strikers are very sharp. But what can you do, facing a goalkeeper like Gianluigi Buffon?

Finally Buffon couldn't save his goal from Ozil's penalty kick. Balzaretti did a handsball and Germany got the penalty kick. But well, it was penalty kick. It was in the end of the match. The final score is 2 - 1 for Italy.

Wow! What a wonderful game! If I was a German supporter, I'd be glad losing that way.

L'Italia: Gianluigi Buffon, Giorgio Chiellini, Federico Balzaretti, Andrea Barzagli, Leonardo Bonucci, Claudio Marchisio, Daniele De Rossi, Riccardo Montolivo (Thiago Motta ’64), Andrea Pirlo, Mario Balotelli (Antonio DiNatale ‘70), Antonio Cassano (Alessandro Diamanti ’58)

La Germania: Manuel Neuer, Mats Hummels, Holger Badstuber, Philipp Lahm, Jerome Boateng (Thomas Muller ’71), Sami Khedira, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Mesut Özil, Toni Kroos, Lukas Podolski (Marco Reus ’46), Mario Gomez (Miroslav Klose ’46)

Spain 2 - 0 France (Xabi Alonso '19, '91)

Thank God for this wonderful day

Saturday, June 23, 2012

Today is perfect!

I went to the weekly meeting at the office, as always. Then I had a meeting with my client in BSD.
It was supposed to be business meeting only, but it turned out to be... futsal time!!! Yeayy!!

So I was supposed to meet my client at Teras Kota at 3 pm. Because he was about to play futsal at 4. But then I was late, so I've got to meet him at the futsal arena. So after the meeting I went home with Dana. I prepared some clothes to play futsal, took my futsal shoes, we had lunch, then we went to Dana's house to print some documents, while Dana was preparing his futsal clothes and shoes.

We went to the field, and there they were, all my new friends, some of them are already my clients. After taking care of business, I changed my clothes then we started played futsal at 5. Yeah, it turned out to started at 5, not 4.

And guess what

Germany 4 - 2 Greece (Lahm '39, Khedira '61, Klose '68, Reus '74 - Samaras '55, Salpingidis '89)

In the second quarter final, Der Panzer is still undefeated. They've won and scored many goals.

The first two matches in quarter final has made this tournament, if I may say, seems to be so boring.
The results are predictable. There are no surprise like the other year. I was kinda hoping for some surprise. Maybe Czech Rep. could beat Portugal, or Greece beat Germany. But well, gotta admit, Portugal and Germany, they're such good teams. They played so well so far.

The less unpredictable matches are Spain vs France and England vs Italy. Both are great teams, full of stars.
Well, Spain vs France would be more predictable than England vs Italy. England and Italy maybe will play tie, 1 - 1, or most likely 0 - 0, then penalty.

Bravissimo! Bravissimo! Sono molto orgogliosa!

martedi, 19 giugno, 2012

L'Italia 2 - 0 L'Irlanda (Antonio Cassano '35, Mario Balotelli '90)
La Spagna 1 - 0 La Croazia (Jesus Navas '88)

La Spagna      7  2/1/0   6 - 1
L'Italia            5  1/2/0   4 - 2
La Croazia     4   1/1/1   4 - 3
L'Irlanda        0   0/0/3   1 - 9

Bravissimo!!!! Uao! Finalmente gli azzurri vanno in quarti di finale!

Sono molto contenta, sono molto orgogliosa!

Italia, my favorite European team, my favorite country, they finally go to the quarter final.
I was worried about them, since they've failed to win the earlier games against Spain and Croatia. While Spain and Croatia both won their matches against Ireland.

Well, I was worried. But logically, Ireland has got nothing to lose. They already lost twice. It's a bit different with Holland. Because both team that won against them have never lost. So, no matter what, Ireland would never make it anyway. Meanwhile, both Croatia and Spain are not save. If Italy won, between Spain and Croatia, whoever lost the game would outta the competition, whoever won would go to the quarter-final.

I'd prefer to watch Italia vs Ireland. But my TV has got no MNC sport 2 chanel. So I could only watch Spain vs Croatia on RCTI. The match sucks. Really. I wasn't enjoying watching them, except for the hottie, under-pressured Slaven Bilic. Yet the goal was not supposed to be counted. I think it was offside! But anyway, if the result was draw 0 - 0 Croatia wouldn't make it to the next round.

Ah... another top scorer candidate has gone. First it was Alan Dzagoev from Russia/group A, now Mandzukic from Croatia. They could only hope that Mario Gomez from Germany didn't make anymore goals, and no other player would score more than 2.

Anyway, this tournament is getting really hot! There are so many goals! For now, there are already 57 goals in 22 matches, means.... well 2.59 goals/match. Hmm... okay, not that much...

So, once again, congratulation for all the Italians and the supporters of gli azzurri.

Siamo orgogliosi!

* 42 players have made 57 goals in 22 matches.

Minggu, 17 Juni 2012

Good bye, Holland :(

Monday, June 18, 2012

First of all... Edwin Van Der Sar is in Indonesia...!!! Woowwww....!!
He was on RCTI, watching Netherlands vs Portugal with those creepy Indonesian commentators.

So here is the final results of the last matches of group B:

Portugal 2 - 1 Netherlands (Cristiano Ronaldo '28, '74 - Raphael Van Der Vaart '11)
Germany 2 - 1 Denmark (Podolski '19, Bender - Krohn-Dehli '24)

Germany        9     3/0/0     5 - 2

Portugal         6     2/0/1     5 - 4
Denmark       3      1/0/2    4 - 5
Netherlands   0      0/0/3    2 - 5

You know, watching this group, is like watching American Idol, or some sort of things. You like both contestants. You'd be sad no matter whoever got thrown out from the competition. I mean... OMG, the teams in this group... Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, Denmark... Both are great teams. Both are legends. Both have got their own history.

Germany was the finalist of Euro 2008 and semi-finalist of World Cup 2010. Netherlands was World Cup 2010 finalist. Denmark has good record in Euro history. And Portugal... they've got one of the most promising soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo, and other soccer stars. We can't really chose any team, can we?

But this group happened to be the perfect hierarchy-ed group, in which one team won over 3 other teams, the second team won over the other 2, the third only won over the one who lost all games. Look at the table above! There are no tied results in this group. Wow! Fantastic!

* 39 players have made 54 goals in 20 matches.

Russia, oh Russia

Sunday, June 17, 2012

What a surprise!
Russia started this tournament convincingly, beating a team as good as Czech Rep. 4 - 1. But then they got tied with Poland 1 - 1 on the second match..., and now..., they lost against Greece!
Greece, who was the bottom after failed to win on their first two games, finally make their way to the quarter final, by beating Russia 1 - 0. Theofanis Gekas was the hero.
...

Czech Rep. 1 - 0 Poland (Petr Jiracek '72)
Greece 1 - 0 Russia (Giorgios Karagounis '45)

Czech Rep  6       1/0/2   2 - 3
Greece        4       1/1/1   3 - 3
Russia         4       1/1/1   5 - 3
Poland        2       0/2/1   4 - 5

Alan Dzagoev was the top scorer candidate. He was the first player to make 3 goals in this tournament. Now he's no longer got any chance to make more goals. He could only wish no one would make more than 3 goals.

Ah, football... nothing is predictable. Football is never predictable.

* 35 players have made 48 goals in 18 matches.

Another Great Goals from Another Games

Saturday, June 16, 2012

Italy 1 - 1 Croatia (Andrea Pirlo '39 - Mandzukic '72)

Spain 4 - 0 Ireland (Torres '4, '70, Silva '48, Fabregas '83)

France 2 - 0 Ukraine (Menez '53, Cabaye '56)

England 3 - 2 Sweden (Carroll '23, Walcott '64, Welbeck '78 - Johnson '49-og, Mellberg '59)
Damn! Johnson made the own goal! Lucky that Walcott and Welbeck made another two goals for England.

Euro 2012 is getting HOT!!!

Thursday, June 14, 2012

Euro 2012 is getting hot! Each team from Group A and B had played for their second matches.

Group A
Greece 1 - 2 Czech Rep. (Theofanis Gekas '53 - Petr Jiracek '3, Vaclav Pilar '6)
Poland 1 - 1 Russia (Jakub Błaszczykowski '57 - Alan Dzagoev '37)

From group A, Russia is now leading with 4 points, after they beat Czech Rep. 4 – 1 at the first match, and then tied with Poland 1 -1 in the second match. And Czech Rep., who was the bottom of the group after losing the first game from Russia, now is in the second place after winning the game against Greece 2 – 1. So now Poland and Greece are the 2 in the bottom. Poland has failed to reach the 3 points.

Russia                   4             1/1/0     5 – 2
Czech Rep.          3             1/0/1     3 – 5
Poland                  2             0/2/0     2 – 2
Greece                 1             0/1/1     2 – 3

I love to see the points: 1, 2, 3, 4. That is just perfect!
Russia is still undefeated, they got 3 points on the first match and 1 point from the second match. Czech Rep. lost once and won once, so they got 3 points. Poland is always tied, so they got 2 points. And Greece, lost one match and only got tied in the other match, making them only got 1 point until now. But anyway, the chances are still wide open. Each team still can fail or make it through the quarter final.
Even the leading team Russia is not save yet. And the chance for Greece is still big. The last matches for this group would be Greece vs Russia and Poland vs Czech Rep. If Greece won against Russia, and Czech Rep. won against Poland, Czech Rep. and Greece would go to the quarter final.

Group B
Portugal 3 - 2 Denmark (Pepe '25, Postiga '36, Varella '87 - Bendtner '41, '80)
Germany 2 - 1 Netherlands (Mario Gomez '24, '38 - Van Persie '73)

From the group B, Germany just made their chance to go to the quarter final bigger. They've reached 6 points after winning 2 games in a row. After beating Portugal 1 - 0 on the first match, now they beat Netherlands 2 - 1. It made it harder for Netherlands to go to quarter final. Meanwhile, Portugal beat Denmark 3 - 2, making them have the same 3 points, with the same goals aggregate 3 - 3.

Germany              6             2/0/0     3 – 1
Portugal               3             1/0/1     3 – 3
Denmark             3             1/0/1     3 – 3
Netherlands         0             0/0/2     1 – 3

Germany got happy and celebrate their success to win 2 games. They celebrate as if they already go to the quarter final. But in fact, they're not save yet. The next matches would be Germany against Denmark and Portugal against Netherlands.

Madagascar 3

Wednesday, June 13, 2012

I went to Lippo Karawaci with Adrian and Nadia. Wow! That town is always surprising me. It's always very nice, and I wish I could live there again someday.

We had some snacks and drinks at Law's Kopithiam, while Nadia did her thesis revision and I helped Adrian do his log book report. What is a log book? That's a pilot's book to record their flying hours. Flying hours? Is that the right words? Yeah whatsoever.

At 2 or something we went to ice cream Oom at Taman Diponegoro. Oh, I was there some couple of years ago. That was my favorite place. I saw so many wonderful house, the environment is very quite and peaceful.  So many trees, so many beautiful house, children playing around, the wind blows... ah, perfect!

You've got to try ice cream Oom. The taste is very unique. They've got unique flavors, such as 'Olive and Parmessan' and 'Peanut Butter'...nyummy!!

Then we went to have some late lunch at Tegal Rotan, near Bintaro. I called Deany and asked her to join us. But Deany asked us to watch 'Madagascar 3' at night.

So, at night, I went to PIM 1 to watch 'Madagascar 3' with Deany, Adrian, and Nadia. And it was such a great idea to spend your time with. ;-)

Just like the first and second, 'Madagascar 3' was such a mood booster. I looooovvvee it!! What a great movie! It was funny, smart, entertaining, the visual was great, the music was great, perfect! the movie!

As you know--if you watched it since the first movie--Alex the lion, Marty the zebra, Gloria the hippopotamus, and Melman the giraffe are stranded in Madagascar. From 'Madagascar 1' and 'Madagascar 2', they've been trying to go back to New York, to the zoo where they believe they belong to.

In the end of 'Madagascar 2', they were still in Africa, waiting for the penguins. In 'Madagascar 3', they decided to catch up with the penguin, that happened to be in Montecarlo, Monaco. So, Alex, Marty, Melman, Gloria, and the lemurs (that they met back in 'Madagascar 1') went to Europe! They traveled through Europe, chased by the slick animal hunter Chantal Dubois, joined the circus with Vitaly the Russian tiger, Gia the Spanish jaguar, and Stefano the Italian seal.

Oh they're so cute! Chantal is slick, ambitious, fast, and crazy. Vitaly is cold and sad, Gia the sexy and passionate one, and Stefano is the funniest, and so dumb. My favorite is the circus scenes, and the Rome scene. Oh it was very funny!

You've got to watch it!

Vorrei provare a cominciare scrivere qui in italiano

martedi, 12 giugno 2012

Studio l'italiano da 3 o 4 anni. Uso i libri, le programme, il dizionario, e ho qualche amici italiani che mi aiutano studiare.
Adesso vorrei cominciare a scrivere in italiano. Ma, mia lingua non è bene ancora. Parlo solo rudimentale.

I paesi sono Brazile, Spagna, Portogallo, Grecia, Francia, Russia, Polandia, Romania, Messico, Kenya, Sud-Africa, Argentina, Cuba, Giappone, Sud-Corea, India, Nepal, Thailand, etc.

Voglio anche andare in Olanda, ma solo perchè mia cugina vive lì. E mi piace Amsterdam perchè la città è molto vecchia e classica.

Birthday Party, Football Party

Tuesday, June 12, 2012

My birthday is yesterday, June 11. But I'm kinda tired of writing diary everyday. So, I just wrote it now.

As you know, European Cup and World Cup are always on my birthday. Well, birth month. It's always on June. So every 2 years I always celebrate my birthday by Euro or World Cup. And the results of World Cup 2002, 2006, 2010, and Euro 2008 were my best gift (On 1994 I didn't watch football yet).

So, how would this Euro 2012 be?

Euro 2012 started on June 8, 2012. The hosts are Poland and Ukraine. There are 4 groups, each group contains 4 teams:

Group A: The host Poland, Greece, Russia, and Czech Rep.
Group B: Portugal, German, Denmark, and Netherlands
Group C: Italy, Spain, Ireland, and Croatia
Group D: France, England, Sweden, and the other host Ukraine

The result so far:
June 8, 2012
Poland 1 - 1 Greece (Robert Lewandowski '17 - Dimitrios Salpingidis '51)
Russia 4 - 1 Czech Rep. (Dzagoev '15, '79, Shirokov '24, Pavlyuchenko '82 - Pilar '52)

June 9, 2012
Denmark 1 - 0 Netherlands (Michael Krohn-Dehli '24)
Germany 1 - 0 Portugal (Mario Gomez '73)

June 10, 2012
Italy 1 - 1 Spain (Antonio DiNatale '61 - Cesc Fabregas '64)
Croatia 3 - 1 Ireland (Mandzukic '3, '48, Jelavic '43 - St. Ledger '19)

June 11, 2012
France 1 - 1 England (Samir Nasri '39 - Joleon Lescott '31)
Ukraine 2 - 1 Sweden (Andriij Shevchenko '55, '62 - Zlatan Ibrahimovic '52)

So far, there are already 20 goals in 8 matches: means 2.5 goals per match.
The top scorers so far are Andriij Shevchenko from Ukraine, Alan Dzagoev from Russia, and Mario Mandzukic from Croatia, each with 2 goals.
:

crazy goal of Samir Nasri made me goes "Holly s***!"

Personal favorites
My favorite team, as always, is Italy. I support Italy because I love cattenaccio and personally love the country.
But, my favorite players are all in Spain: Iker Casillas, Cesc Fabregas, Pique, etc. And I really, really love the way they play.
And so far, I think the best team I've seen is France. They play very beautiful. That amazing player Samir Nasri... OMG!

So, I think I'll go with Italy, Spain, and France. But so far they haven't win. Well, there are still 2 more matches for each team. Oh...why should my 2 favorite teams be in the same group?

Happy Birthday, Nadia Anindita..!

Happy Birthday, Ade Rahma!

Monday, May 21, 2012

Today is Ade's birthday.
Have I told you about her, or 5 of my closest friends when I was in Pelita Harapan University?

Ade was one of the most important person that helped me finish my final project. She also helped me a lot through our campus times. I'd never thank her enough.

Like most of my close friends, Ade is a very unique personality. Well, we all change a lot after passing the campus world and facing the real world. But some things just couldn't be changed. She's always been a very kind person, and very funny, talkative, charming, and always laugh loudly. She's simple and easy going, and of course very creative.

You know, I think I should write about her in my other blog, not here. Anyway, my beloved friend, I wish you a very wonderful birthday and success in everything. Cheers!

So today I went to the bank to transfer some of my clients' premiums, then to the office to submit some cases.

I met Dana and Lucky there, we discussed some things, took care of things, and I went to Pondok Indah with Dana. Dana had an appointment there while I should catch the Trans Bintaro bus.

I arrived at Bintaro at 3 something, wait for my other appointment at 711, and Mama happened to be on her way home from buying some food, so she picked me up and took me to my other meeting near my house.

She left me there, I met the one I met. Then I walked home because it was very close to my house. Lucky me, the rain started falling when I arrived at home. I ate, prayed, but not loved. :p

I don't know why, but today felt somewhat exhausting for me. At 7 or so I was just lying on my sister's bed, meant to play with her funny nose, but I slept instead. Lousy...

Have a nice Monday everyone!

Lazy Time

Sunday, May 20, 2012

Oh darn... It wasn't supposed to be a lazy time. Not today, not any day of mine.

But today, one of my appointments has been canceled because a miss-communication. I was supposed to meet a friend at FX Sudirman.

And I was supposed to watch the final match of Champions League at Kemang with my friends, but I didn't get permission from my parents. Yeah, 25 years old and still living with parents. Yeay...

Anyway, it doesn't mean my day sucks.

I'm happy because today Adrian's lovely girlfriend Nadia was here with us. Have I told you about her? She happened to be a little sister of my high school friend Angga. They are very cute. I mean Nadia and her brother, and Nadia and my brother. I really love them.

So today Bapak went on duty, he left home very early this morning, right after the final. BTW, Chelsea won by penalty. It was in Munich. Wow! Actually I wasn't really into it because I was hoping that it would be between Real Madrid and Barcelona, but they both failed to go to the final. Ouch!

Mama went to a wedding. I couldn't come because I had an appointment, but then my appointment was canceled and I still didn't go to the wedding because Mama had already left.

My brother picked his girlfriend up at 12, then our family friends came so suddenly. They were my mother's auntie and uncle, with one of CDE's wife, Tante Susi, and their neighbor.

Adrian came home with Nadia, we had lunch together. Well, almost. Actually, I just took a shower when they had lunch and then I had lunch. Mama came home to meet her guests.

Then I watched DVD with Deany, Adrian, and Nadia. We watched 'Chronicle'. The movie was about three friends, Andrew, Matt, and Steve, who suddenly had powerful ability to control things, like telekinetic or something. If you already watched it, I wanna say that I'm so on Andrew's side. I mean, you know, the Apex Predator thingy? I'm totally on his side. If we can kill flies, or mosquitoes, or any animals to defend ourselves, then why can't we kill other people for the same reason?

And other thing is, you know, you can say I'm a bit, or a lot, obsessed with telling each day of my life, very detail, day by day, on my diary. And sometimes I just don't have time to write my day in my diary, and it drives me crazy. So lately I had this idea of filming everything, recording everything with a video camera. Then I watched 'Chronicle', and that was exactly what Andrew did on that movie.

I am Andrew. Andrew is me. Yeehaa!

After watching DVD, me, Deany, Adrian, and Nadia went to Lotte Mart to have some early dinner. We went to Es Teler 77. Then we went home, and my friend, Johansen picked me up. We went to Plaza Senayan, then ate Gultik at Blok M. It was fun hanging out with him. He took me home at 10 pm.

Always Been the Busiest Day of the Week

Saturday, May 19, 2012

Saturday, for most people, is the best day in a week, because for most people, Saturday is a day off. They don’t have to work on Saturday. They have fun, go to parties, hang out with the loved ones, etc.
But for me, Saturday is always a very busy day. But still, the best day of the week. I love Saturday!
There always are so many things to do or deal with. First, the morning meeting of course, always the main agenda of Saturday. Then the football practice in Gelora Bung Karno every 3:30 AM. And between those two routines, today I’ve got appointment with my old friend that will be my client in no time.
So, the first thing to do was going to the group meeting in the morning. I went there with Dana.

A Day to Spend With My Beloved Ones

Friday, May 19, 2012

What a lovely day...

So I've told you in the previous post, that my lil' bro is finally a co-pilot. So, today, we had a family time to celebrate. I was supposed to meet someone for business, but luckily it was re-scheduled. So I could spend today with my whole family.

We went to Living World, Alam Sutera.

Obsessed with the Routine

You know, I'm kinda start this routine all over again: pray 5 times a day, writing diary, Italian-Spanish-Portuguese lesson, meeting 2 - 3 people a day, etc.

But it seems impossible to do all those things!!! And it's very depressing for me! I feel like I'm gonna blow up! I feel like screaming!

I mean, I wanna spend time with so many people I love. I really wanna spend time with them. But it's killing me that I don't have time to spend with my self!! I have times to spend with God, my family, my friends, my job, but not me!!!! Right now I really need me-time!! A big amount of me-time!!! Aaarrhhhhhh!!!!

I NEED LOTS OF ME TIME...!!!! LEAVE ME ALONE PEOPLE!!

Sorry, it doesn't mean I didn't enjoy spending time with my family or my friends. I do enjoy spending time with them. That's why it's always been so hard to me to choose. I mean, when I know my family or my friends having some fun without me, I'd be very upset that I wasn't with them. Because I love them. I really love them. I wanna have so much time to spend with them. But I also need me time!!

Actually, what I want is, please, my family and friends, spend your time with yourself! Don't have fun together without me! Wait until I have time to have fun with you guys! Okay, I know that was selfish.

Sorry. But just remember, when I didn't spend time with you, I feel very sad. But I just can't help it. Because I really need a lot of me-time. Sorry.

::

I feel really bad to write something like that.
Sometimes I really wish I could split myself: one part to have fun with those people I love, and other part to have fun with the me-time.

But anyway, I always thank God for everything. I thank God that I have so beautiful, wonderful family (including my cousins, aunties, uncles, nieces and nephews), greatest friends ever, from junior high to work. Really God, thanks for everything you gave me.

The Dreams Journal: 1, 2, 3

The Dreams Journal 1:
May 16
So I really meant to write my dream in detail. But the problem is, when I woke up, I can't remember the detail anymore. The point of the dream I had in my sleep at night before this day is, I was in adventure or something. The people keep changing, the setting keep changing, the condition and mood keep changing, until finally me and my adventurous friends got to find something beneath a bunch of... darn I can't even remember about the thing. But, beneath the bunch of thingy, I finally found what... sorry, we finally found what we were looking for: a diamond and a snake. A cobra. I forgot why should I find the snake. Wait, I think the bunch of things was a bunch of golden jewelry and coins. And the diamond in my dream didn't look like a real diamond, but something diamond-shaped, like in the card game, and it looks like made of bronze. Weird.

The Dreams Journal 2:
May 17
About the dream I have at night before this day, I also already forget most of the dream. The only thing I can remember, I was in a department store with some friends, and we were playing too much, we made a noise too loud, and suddenly my manager, Dana told us to stop making noise. Then we were in Japan, I don't know why. I think, in my dream, he was still in Rome, and I need to meet him to discuss about job, so we met in Japan. I couldn't tell whether it was Tokyo or any part of Japan, but it was in Japan. I was also with Dewi, my old time friend from Junior High School. Then suddenly I was in the middle of some show or something, and the audiences, including me, have to make a mexican wave. But no, it wasn't football match, I'm sure about it.

The Dreams Journal 3:
May 18
I had a very strange dream, again. Strange yet adventurous dream. Once again... I already forgot almost he whole dream. I forgot the occasion, the chronology, and everything.

But I remember I was in some place called Albany or Calgary or something like that. The only Albany I know is the capital of New York, and the only Calgary I know was the capital of Alberta, Canada. But this one place in my dream, that as far as I can remember, is something between Calgary or Albany, was a place somewhere in a city named Coda, that happened to be in Alaska. I don't know, is there any place in Alaska named Coda? The only Coda I know is a character from the animation movie 'Brother Bear'.

The place was snowy. But I didn't feel cold, because it was a dream of course. And I met someone that I met almost every day lately. And that person said, "I've seen your website and your manager on your website, I don't think he's wise enough." What the hell? LOL

Well, actually he said it in Indonesian, but since I wrote here in English... anyway, he used the word that is hardly ever used.

Then I was with Putra. We went home together, as we used to do long time ago. We took a bus or train or something, until the point we've got to walk. Then we had two choices. We have to walk through the underpass, or take the other way that wasn't explained in that dream. Putra said, "We can go through the underpass, but there will be so much #something I can remember# and gas."

So finally we took the other alternative way.

Oh darn, that's all I can remember.

It's a Wonderful Life!!

Thursday, May 17, 2012

I think today is really my day. Well, kind of.

I had three appointments and they were all yellow.... Sorry, it makes me singing. They were all in BSD. They were supposed to be in BSD. But, the first person happened to have another appointment in Bintaro. So I didn't have to go to BSD. We met in Bintaro, and we went to his house in Pamulang, then he took me to BSD where I had the next appointment. We met in Teras Kota, then, the first person I met, took me to Giant, where I had another appointment. Then I asked the second person to play futsal with me in Bintaro. So I went to the futsal field with the second person.

And today, there were 14 players! Including me, my new friend Alfin, the little boy Azis, and my brother Adrian! I'm always happy every time Adrian has time to join us.

So, today's game was really, really fun! We had enough players. But Archie and Taufan, who usually comes, couldn't come today.

About the person I met earlier today, Nathan, he's very nice. He took me to his house, as I've told, and I met his mother, brother, and his two cute little dogs! They are sooooooo....cute...!!! Super cute! They are very clean and healthy. The one bigger looks like my dog Socky, but the color is different and the fur's longer.

And...you know what? My brother is finally a co-pilot! He just passed his final test. Congratulation, brother!! I love you so much!

Thank you so much for today, God!

What a Day

Wednesday, May 16, 2012

Hello, There!
Who did I say hello to?

Anyway, today I had some dance exercise at 11, it was fun. I had some nice new friends. Yeah they are all very nice people.

In the morning me and Adrian took Deany to her clinic at Moestopo Dentistry. The traffic was krraazzyyy...!

And today, me and Deany also went to Pondok Indah Mal to have some fun with Mbak Vina.
Okay. So, because it's been a very long time since the last time I post anything in this blog, I haven't tell about Mbak Vina coming to Jakarta.

So she's been in Jakarta since May 11, 5 days ago. And I just started writing diary again on May 14. That's why her coming hasn't been written here.

She'll be here until June 3, then she'll go back to Holland. I'm very happy that we finally meet again. It's like a dream that she's finally here again in Jakarta. So, I've decided to spend one day with her every week, as long as her stay in Jakarta.

May 11 was Friday. I was having appointment in RS Puri Cinere. I went to Mbak Vina's house after. I went home, then we went to watch movie at night. We went with her cousins from her father's side, Stevie, Dede, Patricia, and Stevie's wive. We watched 'Dark Shadow'. The movie was super duper gorgeous!! As always, Tim Burton with Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, and Colleen Atwood. Oh I am so in love with Colleen Atwood!

Then today, we actually planned to visit Oom Gusye, Mbak Vina's father, in BSD. But his car service shop (what is 'bengkel' in English, anyone?) must be very busy. So we planned to go on next Monday when the place would be closed. So today, Mbak Vina, Deany, and I went to watch movie.

Mbak Vina just had lunch with her father's older sister, Tante Noni and Vania, Tante Noni's youngest daughter. We met at PIM 2 and had some dessert. Then Tante Noni and Vania left.

Mbak Vina, Deany, and I went to XXI to check on the movies. We were planning to watch 'Mirror, Mirror', but the movie only played until 2 pm or something.

So we watched 'Lovely Man' instead. It was Indonesian movie. It was in some movie festival. The movie was about a transvestite father who met his daughter after a very long time. It was very good.

A Long, Long Day

Tuesday, May 15, 2012

This was such a very exhausting, yet lovely day. I've been very busy today.

In the morning I got busy preparing for today's business. At 10.30 am I left house, went to Puri Cinere Hospital to meet the doctor again. Then I took public car to Point Square, Lebak Bulus. I had lunch there, then I took a cab to MM Juice Kebayoran Baru, met my old friend there, doing some business.

Then I went to Ratu Plaza to catch the Trans Bintaro feeder busway. The bus came not so long after I arrived there, thank God! I went to Bintaro, I met another old friend at Lotte Mart.

I got home at 10.30 pm and I'm very tired now.

But I've got to write today's lesson first.

I just had this conversation about love with my friend. And I just conclude: love is supposed to be simple.

You don't love someone for his/her look, or appearance, or for the brain, or belongings, or money. You don't love someone for what they are, who they are, or where are they from. When you decide that someone is perfect for you because he/she fits your criteria of ideal boyfriend/girlfriend, that's not true love.

True love is when you truly love someone, so that everything about him/her is just perfect for you, no matter what.

Good nite everyone!

These are the Days of Our Lives

Monday, May 14, 2012

Whatever that means...

Well, these days felt like the days of my life. Last week my friend-and-manager, Dana, was having a wonderful trip in Rome with Prudential. I was really, really jealous. But the jealousy had lead me to some kinda positive changes. It really gave me positive energy. I woke up earlier, I do what I'm supposed to do, I fight harder than ever.

And anyway, I started to go back to my healthy, positive routine: the healthy life style, the praying schedule, the exercises schedule, the working schedule, the study schedule, etc. Everything's going very great and I thank God for that. And of course, writing this diary is always a part of the routine. So, here I am, finally updating this blog again.

So today I've finally done a promise I've made long time ago. Actually 2 promises, one to God, and one to somebody. And it felt really good of course.

I went to Puri Cinere Hospital today. I had an appointment. It went very well. Thank God again. I went home, did other things I was supposed to do.

So many new things I've learn today. And these days I've been thinking, when I think positive, everything is becoming positive. This late afternoon I saw the sunset and it was very, very beautiful. I saw a child and a father when I was waiting in Puri Cinere Hospital, and it made me very happy. I spent time with my father, my sister, my mom, and my dog, and it's very lovely.

Tomorrow will be a very busy day for me, and I know I won't have time to spend with my family, so I really appreciate what I had today. Thanks, God. Thanks for everything.

'The Grey' movie review

These days I really had fun with my family.

Last night, Tuesday, February 28, 2012, I went to XXI Bintaro Plaza to watch 'The Grey' with my family.

That movie was awesome!

It was about a group of airplane crash survivals landed in the middle of nowhere. John Ottway (Liam Neeson) was a guard for an oil rig in Alaska. His job is to protect the oil rig workers from the beasts, especially wolves. One day when the project was over, it was time to leave that place. Ottway and the other workers took the plane, ready to leave. The plane took off.

John Ottway was very tired, so he closed his eyes and fell asleep. He was dreaming of his wife when suddenly he felt a hard, shocking jolt. The plane was crashing. Most of the passengers were dead. There were only seven people left.

They thought they were already passed the disaster. But the real challenge started when a group of wolves showed up. As a man that used to deal with those beasts everyday, John Ottway could tell, their plane was landed in wolves territory.

So that's all I could say about the movie. Unless I'll spoil everything out. Watch it, guys.

Well, actually, if you've got weak gut and don't like gory things, you better not watch it. The whole movie is about wolves attacks. So, there were gory things every time.

Other than watching movies and spending time with family, I also busy making up everything lately. I've got to tidy up my room, completing my diary here, and also start writing my novel. And of course my main job as professional insurance consultant. Holiday's over, Dude!

This Perfect Evening

Okay, so, because of the lack of internet connection and some other factors, I posted this article two days after I wrote it.

The evening after Livia left.
was Sunday, February 26, 2012

"Oh… this is so… perfect! Now I’m sitting here, in the hotel’s balcony, watching the evening sky, the clouds, the trees, the pool and the sounds of children laughing from there.
I can see Merapi in distance.
Deany and Bapak is still sleeping in our room. While they were sleeping, I took a nice bath, washed my hair, and enjoyed some little time in the bath tub, snacking while enjoying the warmth from the water. Then I decided to take a walk and look around the hotel. I checked on the gift shop, the other lobby, and then I found the balcony.
Oh it was great! I sat here for a while, it was raining. I watched Merapi. Then I just thought it would be great to take my computer here. This is such a perfect place to write. So inspiring!
So then I went back to my room, took my computer, and got back here. So I spent my time here, writing anything, enjoying the atmosphere."

And that was how I enjoyed my last nice, relaxing evening in Jogja.

Good bye, Livia!

Sunday, February 26, 2012

This is Livia's last day in Jogja. This afternoon, Tante Didi, Peter, and Livia would go to Singapore. They'll go back to Switzerland from Singapore.

This morning I walked around the hotel with Deany, Bapak, and Budhe. We checked on the spa but it was still closed because it was still 7 something in the morning. Bapak and Budhe went to the swimming pool and enjoyed the sun while Deany and I had breakfast at hotel restaurant.

At 8.30, we went back to our room and got ready to meet the rest of the family in Ambarukmo. This morning we all met in Ambarukmo Hotel to have breakfast together for the farewell. There were Tante Didi, Peter, and Livia of course, and Uncle Mike, Tante Inggit, Pakde Minoel, Budhe Tut, and Om Ical. Budhe Nuk just came to say good bye, because then some of Pakde Yon relatives picked her up at the hotel.

That was my, and Deany's last chance to play with Livia. Because we were at the restaurant, Livia played waitress. She asked what Deany want, then told me to tell the waitress. But then she asked the waitress herself. Oh she's so cute! Everybody loves her.

Then she asked for cream cheese, the waitress gave her the cream cheese, and then she walked cheerfully with a plate of Croisant and cream cheese, singing, "I like cream cheese, I like cream cheese..." and I was like... OMG!! What an adorable kid!!

We ate breakfast there until 10 am (OMG Deany and I already ate a lot of breakfast in Sheraton, and we still ate in Ambarukmo). Livia fed Deany her bread. Then Livia and Deany went to the pool side and played there.

Adorable Little Livia from Deany's pudding camera

Finally it was time to say good bye. We all gather in the hotel lobby. Tante Didi and Peter were ready to go. But Livia was shocked that suddenly she's got to say good bye to her Mbak Deany. So she started crying, and her crying was really a heartbreaking crying. Oh my goodness... Deany started to cry. Even I almost cry. But Peter cheered us, said that it's a good thing that Livia cries, it means she likes us a lot.

But Livia wouldn't stop crying. So finally Deany and I had to go to the airport with them. On the way to the airport we played doctors like the other day. Livia was really happy. Then when we arrived at the airport, she wasn't crying anymore, and she was ready to say good bye. She waved cheerfully to us before going into the airport. Aww... adorable little princess.

After Tante Didi and her family left, the hotel car took me back to Ambarukmo Hotel where the other family member were waiting. We sat at the hotel lounge. Om Ical was sleeping. Bapak, Pakde Minoel, and Uncle Mike were reading newspaper. Budhe Tut and Deany were talking about their experiences as intern dentist while Tante Inggit and I listened to them. We were there until it was time to leave for Tante Inggit and Uncle Mike. They were about leaving to Singapore. So they would be with Livia again in no time.

Then, after saying good bye to the Stockwells, Pakde Minoel, Budhe Tut, Om Ical, Bapak, Deany, and I went to Taman Cemara to meet Mas Krisna and Lieke. Mas Krisna didn't join us those days before because he was out of town. He just got back today. But he already met Livia before he left.

We spent time in Taman Cemara, eating, drinking, chatting, playing with Lieke, sleeping. Then we all went to Nyonya Soeharti restaurant to eat fried chicken. If you're not indonesian, I'll tell you, Nyonya Soeharti is very famous for its fried chicken. If you visit Java, especially Central Java or Jogja, you MUST eat at Nyonya Soeharti. Oh, and BTW, she's got nothing to do with our former president Soeharto. :-p

Deany and I already ate a lot in Sheraton and Ambarukmo, so when we were at the Nyonya Soeharti, we couldn't eat anything anymore. We were really full. But then, when the meal came, I still ate anyway. It was good!

After the lunch at Nyonya Soeharti, me, Deany, and Bapak said good bye to Mas Krisna, Om Ical, Pakde Minoel, and Budhe Tut. We went back to our hotel and took a nap.

We left Mesa Stila at 11 am or so. I was with Tante Inngit and Uncle Mike. Budhe, Bapak, and Deany in the other car. We went to a small organic restaurant, Amboja.

We planned to meet Tante Didi and family there. But Tante Didi couldn't make it. She was trapped in the traffic. So we then left the restaurant and picked Tante Didi and Livia up in Mbah Carik cafe. Tante Didi went with me, Uncle Mike, and Tante Inggit, and Livia with Deany in the other car. Wow! I was amazed that Livia didn't mind separated with her mother. What a brave kid.

We went to have lunch at jeJamuran restaurant. That is a famous vegetarian restaurant in Jogja. I think I've wrote about this restaurant in my older post when I came to Jogja last year. I don't know, I'll check it later, and if I haven't, I'll explain.

But now, at jeJamuran, Livia kept holding Deany's hand. She was upset with something, maybe also tired, she was less active than usual. But she kept playing with Deany. She wanted Deany to carry her, hug her, and played with Deany's arm. So cute! She likes Deany a lot!

From jeJamuran, Livia wanted to come to Sheraton with us. Hahaha! I was like, "OMG, we won't be able to take a rest!" (But it was worth it, really! LOL)

Me, Livia, Deany, Bapak, and Budhe Nuk went to Sheraton. All the way back to Sheraton, Livia kept playing with us, non-stop! We played family, princess and prince and the cat, restaurant, and mostly play doctors. Deany was always the patient. Some times Budhe Nuk joined us in the play. We couldn't stop laughing. Livia is very funny!

Until we arrived at the hotel, Livia still playing. She was getting even active. She took Deany and I to hide inside the closet. But finally I took a bath, leaving Deany with Livia. Then finally Deany could make Livia a little less active by giving her a smartphone to play. Livia really enjoyed taking pictures with Deany's smartphone.

While Livia was distracted with her new toy, Deany went to take a bath. But then Livia came to the bathroom too. I was sitting on the floor, trying to write my trip to Mesa Stila in my blog. Livia climbed up my neck. I had to carry her on my neck. So I turned off my computer then took Livia around, on my neck! Hahaha! But she's not heavy, that's funny.

And finally, we went to Ambarukmo Hotel to meet Pakde Minoel, Budhe Tut, Om Ical, and finally Peter. We also met Tante Didi, Tante Inggit, and Uncle Mike again. We all went to have family dinner at some restaurant inside the Keraton (Javanese King palace).

(Photos will be uploaded later...sorry...)

That restaurant was gorgeous. There was a small group of musicians played any kind of latin music. Liv was very happy and asked me and Deany to dance with her.

The food is also very good, I loved it! I ate chicken salad for appetizer and lontong kikil (compact rice with something that was part of cow) for the main course. They are very delicious! I also tasted Deany's cow tongue steak with mashed potatoes and it was also very, very good! The funny thing is, usually Livia just wants to eat rice and kerupuk, but that night, she wanted everything Deany ate. Cutie!!

We left that restaurant and went back to Ambarukmo Hotel. Budhe Nuk was with Budhe Tut and Pakde Minoel. Uncle Mike with Tante Didi and Tante Inggit, and I'm with Bapak, Om Ical, Deany, Peter, and of course, the little dynamite Livia.

On the way, Livia was still very full of energy! She's like volcano! Haha! She kept talking, laughing, and asking Deany and I to play with her. But Me and Deany needed some rest. So finally I made a sleeping game. The rule is simple: the one who sleeps longer wins. So the game begun. Of course my little princess didn't really sleep, she kept peeking to see whether Deany and I were sleeping or not. Ahaha!! I wanna kiss her!

Finally we all woke up and laughed. Then we started the game again. But Peter teased Livia, of course in purpose to wake her so that she lost the game. LOL! That was fun!

We parked the cars in Ambarukmo Hotel then walked to Ambarukmo Plaza to have some drinks in a cafe. That was a nice cafe in the plaza's balcony. The parents had drinks and chat, but Deany and I kept playing with Livia. Oh my God! Livia's energy doesn't seem to have limit! Haha!

Finally we left the cafe. We left Livia, Tante Didi, Peter, Tante Inggit, and Uncle Mike in Ambarukmo, because they all stayed there. Om Ical went to Taman Cemara with Pakde Minoel and Budhe Tut. I went back to Sheraton Hotel with Bapak, Deany, and Budhe.

When we finally arrived at the hotel, we were very, very exhausted because of this very long, busy, and exhausting but perfect day.

This was a very wonderful night with my beloved family!
