10 Songs I'm Loving Most Recently

Sunday, January 14, 2018

30 Days Challenge: Day 7

So, for today's challenge, I gotta list 10 songs that I'm loving right now.

This is not my all time top 10 favourite, but here are the songs I really, really, really love to listen and sing recently:

10 'Never Enough' - Loren Allred, from the motion picture 'The Greatest Showman'
Yep! It's not a big surprise that this list will be full of the original scores from the movie 'The Greatest Showman', because I just watched it two weeks ago, and I am still madly, deeply in love with that movie! I love everything about it, but especially the songs! I just can't stop listening to those beautiful songs! Once I stopped, I'd start singing them out loud.
And this song, 'Never Enough' by Loren Allred, is just so beautiful! I love the feel it gave me the first time I heard it, it really touched me! And I personally love Loren's voice. It is soft and feminine, but very strong at the same time. She's such an amazing talent! And her voice really matched Rebecca Ferguson's look and Jenny Lind's character.

9 'The Greatest Show' - Hugh Jackman, from the motion picture 'The Greatest Showman'
Another great song from this great movie! I always love to see Hugh Jackman sing, like in the musical movie 'Les Miserables'. I'm not a big fan of Wolverine. He's kinda cool and badass, but big, strong, badass guy is kinda boring for me. I love to see him sing and dance, and perform something theatrical, exactly like in this song, in this movie. He looked so charming, so adorable, and of course very entertaining! Love Hugh Jackman so much!

8 'This is Me' - Keala Settle, from the motion picture 'The Greatest Showman'
Right now, I am so obsessed with Keala Settle! Like.... I stalk her Instagram almost every day! So in love with her voice! She's so talented! And I love this song, I love the scene when this song came out, and until now I keep listening and singing this song.

7 'Un Poco Loco' - Anthony Gonzalez and Gael Garcia Bernal, from the animated movie 'Coco'
Okay, finally a song that is not from 'The Greatest Showman'. It's from another movie I'm also obsessed about. 'Coco' is the best animation movie I've ever seen. I love the story, I love the visual, I love the imagination, I love the characters, I love the jokes, the drama, the plot twist, and of course... the songs! So many beautiful songs from that movie! If I haven't watched 'The Greatest Showman', this list would've probably been full of original soundtracks from 'Coco'. And this song, 'Un Poco Loco', is one of my favourite songs from that movie. I love the funny lyrics and the fun music, I love Anthony Gonzalez and Gael Garcia Bernal's voice, I love the musical instruments, I love how entertaining Miguel and Hector were, I just love everything about this song!

6 'Tightrope' - Michelle Williams, from the motion picture 'The Greatest Showman'
Yep! Another TGS songs! I put it a little higher on the list because I'm so in love with Michelle Williams voice! Her voice is so dreamy and fits her character, Charity very well. Listening to this song, I always think of how beautiful Michelle Williams was in that movie. The character, the hairdo, the make up, the outfit are perfectly beautiful and suit her very well. Michelle Williams has never been more beautiful! Oh I love this song! I always shiver listening to this song, to its feels, to its contents, to Michelle's voice... How can a voice be that beautiful??

5 'Misty Mountain Hop' - Led Zeppelin, that untitled 4th album
My list of top 10 favourite songs always contains at least 3 LZ song. But actually, this song never made it to top 10. But lately I'm really into this song because it's actually very good, but I hardly listen to this. Each LZ song is very special for me. They really made various kinda songs, and everything is so beautiful. This untitled 4th album is very special, not just because it is untitled, but because I can say it's LZ most popular album. There are 'Stairway to Heaven', 'Rock and Roll', 'Black Dog', and my favourite LZ song ever, 'The Battle of Evermore'! And now, 'Misty Mountain Hop' is my new favourite. I mean one of my favourite songs. It is still not in my top 10 LZ songs. But I really love the mood, the feels, the music, that electric piano played by the most underrated multi-instrumentalist genius John Paul Jones! This song is so fun to listen, hum, and dance to. Oh they are really the gods of music!

4 'Remember Me' - Gael Garcia Bernal, from the animated movie 'Coco'
Another song from 'Coco'. I love this version, the one sung by Hector (Gael Garcia Bernal). The scene when he sang this song to Coco, his gentle voice, the acoustic guitar, Coco sings at the end of this song... Who doesn't cry watching this movie? Seriously! Oh I love this song so much! I can sing it a hundred times in a day.

3 'Barcelona' - Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballé, the audio version
This song. Oh my... Still the best song a human being could ever create! I personally think that Freddie Mercury is the best musician ever! He's such a legend! Of course Mike Moran also deserves the credit.
This song is a perfection! The very dramatic orchestral opening, Freddie Mercury's strong voice, Caballé's beautiful voice, the mixture of all the beauties! It's classic, but it's also rock, or pop. I don't know. Aarrhh I wish I had a word to describe how beautiful this song is! I really need to explore a lot of music vocabulary! Just google this song, watch it on YouTube, and you'll see... This is the greatest song! Even tho', on this list I gotta put it on number 3, but in my list of best songs, it will always be on top!

2 'Come Alive' - Hugh Jackman, from the motion picture 'The Greatest Showman'
Okay now we're back to another song from TGS. Why is it on number 2? Because I really love to see the dance! Especially Hugh Jackman's part. Omg he's so damn sexy! When he played with the hat, when he clapped his hands and then opened them wide. When listening to this song, I can always imagine Hugh Jackman dancing. Also, this song is damn entertaining!

1 'A Million Dreams' - Ziv Zaifman, Hugh Jackman, Michelle Williams, from the motion picture 'The Greatest Showman'
And finally, the song I'm recently loving the most. The sixth TGS song in this list!
I love all the singers voices, I love the music, I especially love the refrain, but most of all, I love the lyrics so much! It's about a young boy with big dreams, despite the poor condition he was in. P. T. Barnum was a man of vision. I don't personally like him. I actually hate circus with animals. But in general, I adore people with visions. I'm a big dreamer myself. This song really shows how, even in the lowest condition, young Barnum still believed in his big dreams, he was still optimistic, ambitious, and full of confidence! I can relate somehow. I might be delusional, but up until now, I still believe that I'll reach my dreams one day. And listening to this song, it seems impossible to be realistic.

Okay those are the 10 songs I'm really loving recently. If you happen to be around me lately, you must have heard these songs, either played or sung by me, to the point you don't wanna hear these songs ever again in your life, yet you're humming them unconsciously in your spare time.

Five Ways to Win My Heart

30 Days Writing Challenge: Day 6

Five Ways to Win My Heart!

Oh gosh... I feel like exposing my self!
Why should I write about this?

Actually, my heart is wide open. It's just hard to get deeper, but easy to win.

Anyway, here's five ways I think people can win my heart..

5 Praise me, appreciate me
I'm lack of appreciation and recognition, mostly because I've done nothing to deserve it anyway. Lol!
But seriously, I love to be appreciated and praised. My moon is in Leo, which means I am actually a Leo. My pride is higher than the tax in developed countries.
It's nice when guys tell me that I'm pretty, but I really love it when people tell me that I'm smart, or funny, or unique, or talented. It's nice when people appreciate my artworks or saying they're amused by my articles, they love my articles, something like that.
Have you watched 'Mother'? Well, I'm kinda like Javier Bardem's character.

4 Puppy
What kinda woman wouldn't melt if someone bring her a puppy, or even just show a puppy picture? Oh! Puppies are the best!
But actually, it's not just puppy. Even though I am not an animal lover myself (not hate, just you know...), animal lovers always win my heart. I have things for the ones who really take a good care of animals, especially dogs. I mean... it needs a huuuge patience and a lot of love. And animals are honest. You can pretend to love kids or elderly, but you can't pretend to love animals because animals can tell if you're pretending.

3 Food
Bring me my favourite food, cook for me, buy me some snacks and junk food... Yep, if you win my mouth and stomach, you win my heart. That's the easiest way I guess.

2 Get closed and connected with my family
My sister, brother, dad, and mom mean everything to me. They're the four people I really care about. So if they like you and enjoy your companion, I instantly like you. You win my heart. That's why I love my brother's wife and my sister's fiancé. They make my siblings happy, they become my own siblings.

1 Intellectual conversation
Not that I'm intelligent myself. You do realize that you don't have to be extremely smart to be a sapiosexual, right? I'm not a smart or knowledgeable person, so people who are smart and full of knowledge always win my heart. I love talking to such people because I can always learn a lot of new, interesting things! They also inspire me, give me beautiful ideas, and trigger my intelligence and creativity. I love talking about many things, especially life and human nature. And I feel so lucky that I've met some highly intelligent people that have amused me with all our interesting conversations. Talking to them is never boring and the conversations are usually endless. Well, I just hope that they enjoy the conversations as well.

So, there, five ways to win my heart.

The One Inspired Me Most Recently

Thursday, January 11, 2018

30 Days Writing Challenge: Day 4

Okay, for the challenge today, I'm gonna have to write about someone who inspires me.

There are so many people who have inspired me. Some of them are the people around me, some are inspiring people I met by chance, and some are famous people and celebrities.

But today, I'll write about J. D. Salinger. He just became my inspiration lately. I mean, J. D. Salinger is a legend. Everyone knows him. I've known his name. I've known the famous 'Catcher in the Rye'. But I've never read the book and never read about him before.

Then I watched that movie, 'Rebel in the Rye', and I got so inspired. His struggle to be a professional writer really touched me.

More than that, I can totally relate with him. He was a lousy student, mostly because his lack of focus. He got bored so easily, he was also a rebel, he dropped out from some majors. He was anti-social, that anti-social he couldn't even maintain a relationship. And he was so passionate about writing.

I mean, yeah I'm sure he's not the only writer, or genius creator that was a rebel, eccentric, and anti-social. But because I just watched that movie recently, Salinger inspired me most recently.

So, if not J. D. Salinger himself, maybe the movie 'Rebel in the Rye' that has inspired me, or Whit Burnett, as the most influential person in Salinger's path to be a legendary writer.

I got so many important lessons in writing. And now I'm looking for the book 'Catcher in the Rye'. I really need to read that book.

In Order to Put Everything in Order

My Real Top 3 Pet Peeves

Okay, yesterday I was writing in panic mode. I was so emotional and I was in my worst mood. Everytime I got really sick I turned into the meanest person on earth. Is that the real me? Is that my true color? I don't know. Maybe.

But now that I feel so much better, I feel so much better too about my life and people around me. I don't really hate people as I did yesterday.

So, my top 3 Pet Peeves are...

1. Dumb religious beliefs

No offense, but seriously? Some people really think that showing some stupid, non sense stories can make others want to convert to their religion?
For example, my mom really believes that, if people stopped walking around the Kabah, the world would stop rotating. I don't care what she believes, but sharing it to others in order to 'proof' that her religion is the true religion? That's just plain dumb. I don't think it was wrong, I just find it highly irritating.

2. Double Standard
Ugh! And there are too many kind of double standards everywhere! Where should I start?
For starter, I really hate home-wrecker haters, mostly women. So many dumb women hate home-wrecker, but don't hate the cheater. That's just plain dumb and irrational. So many women forgive their husband/boyfriend/partner/whatsoever for cheating on them, but will never stop hating the other women.

What else? Sexual harassment. People are already extremely aware of sexual harassment towards women, even to the tiniest, slightiest forms of harassment they can be extremely sensitive. But men are also being harassed all the time and nobody cares. Do we all really believe that all men are always happy and open to any sexual thing from women? Do you really think that men can't be raped? Oh yeah, we make fun of male rape victim.

Values in society. Some women hate men for being all about physical appearance, while they're trying so hard to fulfill that stupid physical appearance standard anyway. Yet, they want rich man with steady job and financial security.
So do men hate materialistic women, but they think that if they're rich, they can get any woman. And they also want pretty women. Ugh! Women, if you want a man for his money, don't complain about men wanting you for your beauty. And men, if you want a woman for her beauty, don't complain about them being materialistic. Deal with it.
Yeah there are too many double standards. I'll just stop now.

3. Broken Pattern
Or maybe the OCD I have is the pet peeve itself.

I always want to put everything in order. In fact, I've done a lot more thing than I should, in order to put everything in order.

Top Three Pet Peeves

Day 3:

I should have written this yesterday, but I got sick! I'm sick, and when I'm sick, I become a patientzila. I always have a very bad mood, and I show my true color. So, get ready to hate me in 3..., 2..., 1!

Day 3: What are your top 3 pet peeves?

Death. Diseases. Some people.

Death. I fucking hate death!
Diseases! I hate diseases!
And there are so many of them. Too many of them!

Fuck people who create diseases!

Fuck all the animals who bring diseases!

Fuck all the people who gave me diseases!

Right now I realize, all I ever wanted in life is being healthy and live forever. I want eternity. If I die, I'm gonna be so pissed! I've done nothing in my life! I've been no where! I've been trying so hard pleasing people because I thought I care about them. But you know what? It turned out that I don't. I just realized it now that I'm fucking ill.

I don't care about anyone but me! I know it sounds so selfish and mean, but trust me, the only reason you care about anyone in your life, is because you care so much about yourself in the first place. You don't wanna lose them, you don't wanna see them in pain, you wanna think that, when they die, they go to a better place. It's all about you! You need them to keep you alive!
I don't wanna die.

No, it's not cancer btw. I just caught a cold actually. But there's this fucking diphtheria epidemic surrounding my hometown. And I became very paranoid about it. I become paranoid about a simple cold!

I mean.... People are fucking dying! And I am freaking out. If I die, I wouldn't be happy. I wouldn't be in the better place. I'd be crying over living in this shit hole instead of the paradise on earth I've always wanted to live in.

I'm so scared!

Three days ago my mom kinda left me in a house with someone who probably had diphtheria. I just got the vaccine. But I just found out that vaccine needs days to start working. Wtf!?

And now I'm sick. How am I not worried?

Please don't kill me God! I hate my life! But let me just live a different life! Give me another chance to do everything differently!

Okay now chill. I'm not gonna die.
I'll heal. I'll live. I'll write another story.

Some Unforgettable Words

Monday, January 8, 2018

Day 2 of the 30 Days Writing Challenge.

And... the challenge of the day is....

"Write something that someone told you about yourself that you never forget!"

Should it be positive or negative? Okay, I'll just go with the positive one.

But on the second thought, it would sound like I was showing off. So, maybe I'll find something negative that turned out to have a positive effect on me.

(After hours of other activities)

Okay, today's challenge is more difficult than I thought. But I decided to write this one:

I really like this old friend of mine, and now I miss her terribly. I used to write articles that make people text me and compliment me for my thoughts or the way I write. I used to. Now I don't do it anymore and it makes me sad sometimes, including now that I have to think about it.

Anyway, this friend is one of those people who like to read my blog and compliment me all the time. She told me that my articles are smart and very amusing, and other beautiful compliments. I don't know how to say this without sounding like a snob, but, she's (or was) not the only one.

But what makes it unforgettable is, she herself is one of the smartest people I know in person. We went to the same university and were in the same class before I changed my major. She was the smartest student in our class. I really like her.

So, you probably get curious and check my older posts right away, or probably not. If you do, you probably think, "Which articles are so great, again?"

Yeah, they're not that great actually. If it was, I wouldn't be here. I would've been so rich and famous and I'd probably control the world.

But, whether it was really great or not, I'm not the kinda person who forgets easily such appreciations. I love being appreciated. Apparently, it doesn't automatically makes me more productive, but I still love the feeling.
