Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT): mentoring, Day 1

Okay, so these days I really lost it, I didn’t have chance to write my diary, because of the business, because of this awful internet connection..., and all, and the last days, even weeks I wrote here made my blog looks more like a tweet. Darn…
So, now I’m gonna start this all over again.

Thursday, February 16, 2012
These last three days were gorgeous! The finest three days of my life!
On Thursday I started to participate in MDRT Mentoring Class. Mrs. Jeannette Sulindro (Jeannette Ma) was the mentor of the class. That class really gave me something priceless!
So, at first I wasn’t sure of taking the class just because it was in the place I knew nothing about. It was at Wisma 76, a building in Slipi, West Jakarta. Darn I thought, “Oh my God! How am I supposed to go there?” and the class started at 9 am every day!
On my first day, Thursday, February 16, 2012, I was almost canceling my plan to go to that class. I thought I could just attend the next class that might be easier to reach. But no! I didn’t step back! Without knowing anything to do, I pushed my self to keep going! I left my house early and went to the train station in Pondok Ranji, near Bintaro 3. I didn’t know where the train would bring me, but I was sure it would be faster than bus.
I left house at 6.30. I already have maid now, since Monday, February 13. And she’s staying at my house. So she’s the one who feed Bulbul.
I went by public car from my house to Bintaro Plaza intersection. Then I walked to the train station and asked people there, how could I go to Slipi. I forget what did they tell me, but finally I decided to take the train to Tanah Abang. I called Mas Wawan, an office boy in my office, asked him how could I go to Slipi by train, and he told me to stop at Tanah Abang and took ojek.
I met Wulan, or I usually call her Nci, while waiting for the train. She told me to get ready for the chaotic condition inside the train. I once took a train to Tanah Abang, but it was not early morning, so the train was full of people, but we still had space between people. But when I took a train to Tanah Abang with Nci, it was 7.21 am, and everybody is going to the office. Wow! It was kraaaazzzyyyy…!! I really had to forced my self to get inside the train. It was not only full, it was overloaded! The passengers were just like jerked meat, is just like a packed clothes in a very tiny suitcase. There were no spaces to move! Not even a little. Whew! Crazy!
But it got a little bit better after the Palmerah station. So many passengers stop at Palmerah. The train was still full, but at least finally I could stand on my feet.
