What a surprise!
Russia started this tournament convincingly, beating a team as good as Czech Rep. 4 - 1. But then they got tied with Poland 1 - 1 on the second match..., and now..., they lost against Greece!
Greece, who was the bottom after failed to win on their first two games, finally make their way to the quarter final, by beating Russia 1 - 0. Theofanis Gekas was the hero.

Alan Dzagoev was the top scorer candidate. He was the first player to make 3 goals in this tournament. Now he's no longer got any chance to make more goals. He could only wish no one would make more than 3 goals.
